Zero Waste Workshops are Back! Coming Soon to a school near you...

We hope you all had a great summer holiday and are enjoying being back at school for two weeks already.  Our Zero Waste Workshops will be offered at all schools in the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District again this fall.  We would love to see your class or school participate in a Garbage Free Lunch Challenge!

You may have seen some of the Zero Waste Stations set up at your local Farmer's Markets, which have been a great success.  Check it out if you make it to a Farmer's Market soon.

We have many options in this corridor for Reducing, Reusing, Recycling and Composting our waste.  It only takes a little effort to make sure you find the best place to out your waste in order to divert it from the landfill and it could be a useful resource for someone or something else.

If you can't figure out how or where to recycle any of your items, please ask at your local recycling depot or check out the website for the Recycling Hotline in B.C.
